This Month in the Sensory Table: Hearts and Flowers

This month at the library, I turned our sensory table into an I Spy activity. My goal was that parents would use the clues to further conversation and find new ways to incorporate early literacy and math activities into their play. I found these awesome silk flower petals at the Dollar Store, and then I hunted for red and pink treasures in my office. In the mix: foam counters, dyed pasta, painted story rocks, milk jug caps, chenille stems, silk roses, and felt and foam hearts. The flowers were a big hit and were gifted to me many times throughout the month. What is in your sensory table this month?
