When our storytime room is not being used for storytime, we bring out the toys and leave the room open for play. I love to see what the kids do with the variety of flannelboard pieces we leave out.

Flannel Friday: The Cat's Hat
I put this out in our community flannelboard collection this month--patterning practice with Cat in the Hat. I included an "Invitation to Play" with tips for parents on how to work on this skill with their kids.
