Flannel Friday: Head, Body, Legs

This is one of my favorite stories to tell. Head, Body, Legs is a Liberian folktale. These pieces are inspired by the book Head, Body, Legs by Won-Ldy Paye and Margaret Lippert.

First, Head is all alone forced to roll around on the ground
and eat whatever he can reach with his tongue.

After teaming up with Hands, Head is able to enjoy cherries from the tree.

The addition of body allows them to bounce and move around.

And finally, they get it right.

Lauren at The Dilley Dally is hosting the Round Up this week. Find all things Flannel Friday on the blog and on Pinterest.
